WORTEV Supports Entrepreneurs in Zacatecas with Seed Capital at CREO MX 2025

Empowering innovation, inclusion, and sustainable growth across Mexico

As part of CREO MX Zacatecas 2025, WORTEV participated in the Hackathon Awards Ceremony, recognizing the creativity and impact of young innovators developing solutions for Mexico’s most pressing challenges.

The event brought together government leaders, universities, private sponsors, and development institutions to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the state of Zacatecas and across Mexico.

“At WORTEV, we believe in empowering entrepreneurs with not only knowledge and mentorship but also access to capital. These projects represent the creativity, discipline, and determination that define Mexico’s next generation of business leaders,” said Denis Yris, Founder and CEO of WORTEV.

Celebrating the Innovators of the Future

🏆 First Place: Agrophys (UAZ) — Development of nanofertilizers and nanopesticides for sustainable agriculture.
🥈 Second Place: Incluye+ (CECYTEZ) — An educational platform integrating sign language and sensory devices for inclusive learning.
🥉 Third Place: Topos Negros (ITSZO) — Research on quebracho as a natural substitute for sodium cyanide in mineral flotation processes.

These projects exemplify how science, sustainability, and social impact can converge to create transformative solutions for industries and communities alike.

WORTEV awarded seed capital to support the winning teams, marking a milestone in its mission to back early-stage innovation and help entrepreneurs transition from concept to market-ready ventures.

CREO MX: A Platform for Economic Inclusion

The Government of Zacatecas, through its Ministry of Economy, announced the fourth edition of CREO MX 2025, held from October 14 to 16 at the Centro Platero.
The initiative promotes innovation among entrepreneurs, micro, and small businesses, positioning Zacatecas as a hub for inclusive growth.

This year’s edition introduced seed funding and specialized mentorship to strengthen the university Hackathon, encouraging greater participation among young innovators.

Beyond the competition, CREO MX emphasizes social inclusion, with programs designed for women entrepreneurs, university students, and the migrant community.
Through a partnership with WORTEV, new initiatives will empower women-led businesses and provide access to financing and business education.
